Terms of Membership

These terms govern your application to, and membership of, Khaas. Khaas is a trading name of 786 Infinite Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 12533644), registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. 1. What Khaas is

Khaas is a private members introduction platform. Members join in one of three categories: Dating, Business, or the open category covering both. We verify identity, vet standing and screen intent, then let members request introductions to one another. We arrange introductions. We do not promise chemistry, deals, relationships or outcomes, and we make no representation about any member beyond the checks described on our site.

2. Eligibility and truthfulness

• You must be eighteen or over and pass our vetting.
• Everything in your application must be true, including your written attestation of wealth. We may ask for proof of any attestation at any time. A false attestation, or refusal of a reasonable audit request, ends your membership without refund of membership fees.
• Admission decisions are made by automated screening. You may appeal any decision to a person by writing to us, and we review safety matters by a person in every case.
• Admission is at our discretion, and some members are admitted by invitation with fees waived.

3. Fees

• Membership: a single payment of $1,000 for Dating, $1,000 for Business, or $1,500 for the open category. Membership never renews and nothing recurs. Prices include any taxes that apply. Membership is personal and not transferable.
• Introductions: paid by the requesting member only, at $500 in a single category or $750 in the open category, at the moment of request. Accepting an introduction costs nothing.
• Credits: if your introduction request is declined, or receives no response within seven days, the fee returns to your account as credit, applied automatically to your next request. Credits are redeemable against introduction fees and are refundable in money where the law of your place of residence requires it.
• If two members request each other before either responds, the first request is charged and the second is waived.

4. Conduct

• Sincerity is the standard. Membership exists for genuine connection, in dating, in business, or both.
• The dating side and the business side are separate. A member first encountered through the business side may never be approached for dating, whatever categories either member later holds. One crossing of this line is grounds for removal.
• One credible report of transactional behaviour, harassment, or misrepresentation is grounds for removal. We investigate reports with a person, promptly and in confidence.
• Contact details are shared only when both members accept an introduction. Sharing another member's information outside the platform without their consent is grounds for removal.
• Removal for breach of these conduct rules forfeits membership fees. Unused introduction credits are dealt with under clause 3.

5. Safety

Vetting reduces risk. It does not remove it, and it is not a guarantee of any person's character or conduct. You alone decide whether, where and how to meet another member, and first meetings in public places are strongly advised. Report any concern to hello@khaasintros.com; reports are reviewed by a person and we may suspend or remove a member while we investigate.

6. Cancellation and refunds

Everywhere: you may end your membership at any time by writing to us. Statutory rights in your country of residence are unaffected by anything in these terms.

United Kingdom and European Union: you have a right to cancel a distance contract within fourteen days of purchase without giving a reason, with a full refund. If you ask us to begin the service within that period, we may deduct an amount for what has been supplied, as consumer law allows.

New York: members joining in New York receive a written contract with the disclosures New York law requires, including the following right:

YOU, THE BUYER, MAY CANCEL THIS CONTRACT WITHOUT ANY CANCELLATION FEE WITHIN THREE (3) BUSINESS DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF THIS CONTRACT. SEE THE ATTACHED NOTICE OF CANCELLATION FORM FOR AN EXPLANATION OF THIS RIGHT.

Where a New York member cancels within that period, all payments are returned within ten business days of our receipt of the cancellation notice, which may be given by post or by email to the addresses stated in the contract.

7. Ending membership

You may leave at any time. We may suspend or end a membership for breach of these terms, for false information, or where we reasonably consider it necessary to protect members, and where the breach is yours, membership fees are not refunded. On ending, your profile is removed and your data is handled as the Privacy Policy describes.

8. Our responsibility to you

We provide Khaas with reasonable skill and care. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of members, for the outcome of any introduction, or for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. General

We may update these terms, and will give members notice by email before meaningful changes take effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes belong to the courts of England and Wales, except that if you are a consumer elsewhere you keep the protection of the mandatory rules and courts of your place of residence, including New York.
